1. About these terms
These terms apply to every hosted party, event booking and DIY party kit order with Party Pack'd. When you confirm a booking, pay a deposit or place an order, you agree to these terms. If we don't ask for a deposit, confirming your booking still means you accept them.
2. Who's who
- "Party Pack'd", "we" and "us" means Party Pack'd, ABN [your ABN].
- "You" or "the client" means the person or organisation making the booking or order.
- "Host" means the Party Pack'd team member who runs your party or event.
3. Bookings and payments
- A [50]% deposit is due when you book and secures your date. We can't hold a date without it.
- The balance is due [3] days before your event.
- Prices are in Australian dollars. [Prices include GST / We are not registered for GST].
- If you add guests, add-ons or extras after booking, we'll adjust your invoice.
- If the balance isn't paid on time, we may cancel the booking. We'll always try to contact you first.
4. Guest numbers
- Packages are priced for 10 guests, which is our minimum booking.
- Please confirm final guest numbers at least [7] days before your event, so we can prepare a kit for every child.
- We can add guests after that if we have materials, but we can't refund for guests who don't attend.
- Groups over 15 (12 for Premium parties) need an extra host, which we'll quote for you.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling
Plans change, and we understand. Because we order materials and set aside time for every booking, this is how cancellations work:
- More than 21 days before your event: your deposit is non-refundable, but you can move your booking to another date at no charge, subject to availability.
- 21 days or less before your event: your deposit is non-refundable. You can reschedule for a [$X] fee, subject to availability.
- Within 72 hours of your event: the full amount is payable, as materials are prepared and your host is booked.
Cancellations and changes must be made in writing. Email is perfect. We aren't responsible for guests who don't attend on the day.
6. If we need to cancel
If we have to cancel because of host illness or something outside our control, we'll first try to find another host or offer you a new date. If neither works for you, we'll refund everything you've paid for that booking.
7. On the day
- Supervision: a parent, guardian or nominated adult must stay for the whole event and remains responsible for the children. Our host runs the craft activity but isn't providing childcare.
- Space and access: please give us a clear table area for every guest, access to the space [45] minutes before the start time, and nearby parking. Let us know about stairs, long walks or venue rules before the day.
- Outdoor parties: outdoor set-ups need a covered area. If the weather turns, we'll work with you to move indoors.
- Timing: if the party starts late because the space isn't ready, we may not be able to extend the workshop. Extra time can be added at [$X per 30 minutes] if our host is available.
- Safety: if behaviour becomes unsafe, our host may pause or stop the activity.
- Small parts: many of our crafts contain beads and small pieces. They aren't suitable for children under 3, so please keep younger siblings away from the craft table.
8. Allergies and special requirements
Please tell us about any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions or additional needs when you book. We'll do our best to adjust materials, but we can't guarantee any craft is free from every allergen.
9. Extras from other suppliers
If we help you organise extras like balloon garlands or hire furniture, you book and pay the supplier directly. We aren't responsible for their products or services.
10. DIY party kits
- Kits are made to order. Please allow [X] business days for us to prepare your kit before pickup or delivery.
- Each kit lists the youngest age it suits. Kits contain small parts and aren't suitable for children under 3. An adult must supervise at all times.
- Please check your kit when you receive it and tell us within [7] days if anything is missing or damaged. We'll replace it.
- Because kits are made to order, we can't accept change-of-mind returns once your kit has been prepared.
11. Photos
We'd love to share photos of our set-ups. We only photograph the table and the creations unless you give us permission to include children. We'll never post a photo of a child without written consent from their parent or guardian, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
12. Liability
We take care to run safe, well-organised parties, and we carry public liability insurance [up to $X million]. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for loss, injury or damage that isn't caused by our negligence, including damage caused by the venue, other suppliers or guests.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services and products come with guarantees that can't be excluded.
13. Our designs
Our party concepts, instructions, step cards and demo videos belong to Party Pack'd. Please don't copy or resell them.
14. Questions and complaints
If something isn't right, please tell us at [your email address] and we'll work with you to sort it out.
15. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in place when you book apply to your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
